I want to thank everybody for taking the time to come visit my site. A lot of you are wonderful followers of Crsytal at www.MoneySavingMom.com; I hope that you like what you find here.

How Often I Post

I’m a little different than most bloggers. I work full-time doing what I love: teaching people how to manage money, build wealth, and properly transition to retirement.

I only started this blog in hopes to extend the reach of the impact I can have on peoples’ lives. With that said, I do not post every day as I try to maintain a relatively decent balance in my life.

I think financial bloggers that post every day run out of topics to talk about, and they tend to post meaningless, useless garbage. I try to put quite a bit of thought and experience into my posts, so I’m not very big on throwing things together at the last minute.

I post on Mondays, Tuesdays (recipes), and Thursdays. I may even post on the occasional Saturday.

Once a month I have a post dedicated to our personal journey (we’ve been working our way out of debt for the past 5 years). I try to discuss the struggles we had the previous month and I update the charts detailing our progress.

The remainder of my posts are dedicated to finances (primarily), leadership, working jobs you love, and life lessons in general.

What’s Coming Up

This Monday I’ll have the most recent “Our Journey” post, where I’ll review our struggles and successes in 2011.

I just started the 6-week budgeting series, my hope is that many people find that series extremely helpful. I’m used to coaching people in a 1-on-1 setting, so I’ll do my best to try and write everything so it makes sense.

Lastly, here in two weeks, I will have a FREE GIVEAWAY for (5) of Crystal’s new book, The Money Saving Mom’s Budget! She has been very kind and gave me the opportunity to give away a couple of her books…so I’m really looking forward to that!
